About the player
At youth level he went further, part of the England side that won the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup and was later named in the Team of the Tournament at that year's UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
Two loans to the Netherlands, at SC Cambuur and MVV Maastricht in 2020, gave him first-team football away from Chelsea before he left the club as a free agent in 2022. He signed for Swindon Town, where he played until 2024, then moved on a free transfer to Grimsby Town that July.
At Grimsby, the left-footed midfielder made 79 appearances and scored twice, and was named the club's Player of the Season for 2024–25. His contract ran out in June 2026 and he was released, before signing a two-year deal with Chesterfield as a free agent later that month.
