About the player
He collected three consecutive Ligue Professionnelle 1 titles and, in 2023–24, the Algerian Cup.
His path started at ES Sétif before a short spell at MC Alger between 2019 and 2020. A loan to Portuguese side F.C. Vizela in August 2023 did not work out as hoped: Mrezigue made no competitive appearances there and returned to Belouizdad in February 2024. On the international stage, though, he has plenty to point to. He was part of the Algeria squad that won the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, and he was named Best Player of the 2022 African Nations Championship, a tournament actually played in 2023.
In July 2024, Mrezigue made the move to Russia, joining FC Dynamo Makhachkala for a reported fee of €500,000. It marked a shift from a league he had already conquered to one still new to him.
