Ivan Oleynikov

Ivan Oleynikov In 2021/22 he was the top scorer in Group 1 of the Second Division, with 24 goals for Chaika Peschanokopskoye, and the club finished the season with bronze medals. He had joined Chaika a year earlier on a free transfer, after two seasons at Shinnik Yaroslavl that brought 40 appearances and five goals.

The route there was not direct. He started out with Vityaz in his home town of Podolsk and moved to the CSKA Moscow academy in 2005, staying until 2016. In the youth ranks he won the Russian Youth Championship in 2018/19 and took silver in the two seasons before it. He was also part of a side that won the Russian U19 Championship. He was registered with the CSKA senior squad from 2017 to 2019 without playing an official match, and in 2019 he went on loan to Fakel Voronezh, where he played 14 games and scored once. Shinnik then signed him for €20,000.

Akhmat Grozny took him in 2022. He played 52 matches there and scored three goals. On 5 August 2024 he joined Krylya Sovetov Samara for €1 million on a three-year contract. He scored 16 goals in 71 appearances for the club, most of them as a winger or attacking midfielder.

In September 2026 he went back to CSKA, signing a contract that runs to the summer of 2029. The deal was reported at ₽220 million in total: a ₽100 million transfer fee and ₽120 million in agent fees and signing bonuses.

For Russia at U20 level he won three caps and scored twice. He has been called up to the senior national squad.
