Ivan Petryak

Petryak's first season abroad ended with a league title. Shakhtar Donetsk loaned him to Ferencváros for 2018–19, and he played 28 matches, scored six goals and won the Hungarian NB I. He stayed in Hungary and joined Fehérvár FC permanently in 2019. Over the next three years he played 96 matches for them and scored 24 goals.

His route to that point began at Zorya Luhansk, where he played from 2011 and made 59 appearances. Shakhtar signed him in February 2016, but he played only 14 times for them at first. He went back to Zorya on loan for 2016–17 and made 28 appearances. That season Zorya finished third in the Ukrainian Championship. Petryak is right-footed and plays as an attacking midfielder or on the left wing.

He played for Ukraine at U18, U19, U20 and U21 levels. He has won five senior caps since 2016.

Petryak returned to Shakhtar in August 2022 and made 13 appearances in his first spell back. The club won the Ukrainian Premier League in 2022–23, and he had also won it in 2017–18, when Shakhtar took the Ukrainian Cup as well. In 2024 he was loaned to Polissya Zhytomyr, where he made seven appearances, and to Chornomorets Odesa, where he made ten.

His Shakhtar contract expired in 2026. On 25 July he signed for Kudrivka as a free agent.
