Ilya Chernyak

Ilya Chernyak had his most productive season at Shakhtyor Soligorsk, the club where he came through the youth system and made his professional debut in 2020. In 2022 he was a key player for them, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in 26 league matches. Shakhtyor were declared Belarusian Premier League champions that year, but the Belarusian Football Federation later annulled the title over a match involving Belshina Bobruisk. Chernyak was in the squad, though the honour no longer stands in the record books.

Before that breakthrough he had already been sent out to gain experience. In February 2021 he went on loan to Dinamo Zagreb II and played nine games in the Croatian second tier. Once the 2022 season was over, he moved on loan to Akhmat Grozny in February 2023. He made two league appearances and one in the Russian Cup, then left in July.

He scored once in eight games for Kaspiy in Kazakhstan, and made four league appearances for Dinamo Minsk in the first half of 2024. He then joined Dinamo Brest, where he scored once in 13 league matches. In 2025 he played eight games for Ufa in Russia's First League and scored twice. He then scored twice in 12 matches for Široki Brijeg in the Bosnian top flight. In June 2026 he signed for Ulytau.

For Belarus he played six times at U21 level between 2022 and 2023. His senior debut came on 26 March 2024 in a friendly against Malta, and he has one senior cap. Chernyak is used as a forward and can also play in midfield.
