Isaac Hayden

Isaac Hayden spent his youth career in England's age-group teams, with caps from under-16 to under-21 level, before switching his allegiance to Jamaica in 2024. He made his senior debut for Jamaica on 15 November 2024 in a CONCACAF Nations League match against the United States, which Jamaica lost 1–0.

His route to that point began at Arsenal, where he came through the academy and made his professional debut in 2013 without playing a league match for the first team. His honours from those years include the FA Cup in 2013–14 and 2014–15, the FA Community Shield in 2014, the Emirates Cup and the Premier League Asia Trophy, both in 2015. A loan at Hull City in 2015–16 gave him regular league football: 18 appearances and one goal.

In July 2016 Newcastle United signed him for a reported £2.5 million. He won the EFL Championship there in 2016–17 and went on to make 151 league appearances and score six goals. Later years brought a run of loans, to Norwich City, Standard Liège and Portsmouth, and he left Newcastle by mutual consent in August 2025.

Queens Park Rangers had first taken him on loan, and after his Newcastle exit he signed for them permanently as a free agent. He stayed until June 2026. The following month he joined Leyton Orient as a free agent on a two-year contract, with an option for a third year.
