About the player
Batoum's career has moved fast since he broke through at Dynamo Douala, where he scored 12 goals in the MTN Elite One during the 2024/2025 season, splitting his time there with a spell at Colombe Sportive du Dja-et-Lobo, with whom he won the domestic cup. At FC Ashdod, which he joined in August 2025, he made 20 appearances and scored 5 goals with 2 assists.
He had made 6 appearances for Cracovia before being loaned out to Hungarian side Nyíregyháza Spartacus for the 2026/2027 season, with an option to buy attached.
Batoum began his path to professional football at AS Edéa and the Dauphine Academy in Douala, before starting his senior career at AS FAP in Yaoundé, where he played in the MTN Elite Two.
He has also broken into the Cameroon national team, making his debut in 2025 under coach Marc Brys. His first international goal came on 6 June 2025, in a 3-0 friendly win against Uganda, and he added a second cap three days later against Equatorial Guinea.
