Kyliane Dong

Kyliane Dong was 17 years and 314 days old when he came on for ES Troyes AC in Ligue 1 in August 2022, which made him the 10th youngest player to appear in the French top flight that season. The debut followed a run of goals in the Coupe Gambardella. He scored four in four matches for Troyes in 2021–22, and Juventus and Marseille were reported to be interested.

He had come through the Troyes academy after starting out at FC Fleury 91, and he spent three years with the club's reserve side alongside his first-team appearances. He signed his first professional contract in June 2022, shortly before that debut. Across three seasons he made 53 senior appearances for Troyes and scored four goals.

The move to FC Augsburg came in April 2025, on a contract running until 2030. He did not settle there for long. In September 2025 he went to Pau FC on loan, and it was in Ligue 2 that his numbers improved: 29 league appearances, six goals and four assists in the 2025–26 season.

For France at under-20 level, Dong won four caps and scored twice between 2023 and 2024. He made his debut in a 2–2 draw with Denmark in September 2023. The most striking night came in a 4–4 friendly against Germany in spring 2024, when he scored a hat-trick.

In July 2026 Augsburg sent him to Bolton Wanderers for a season, with an option to buy, for a loan fee of £257,000. He has made two league appearances and one in the EFL Cup for the club so far.
