About the player
His first-team debut came in the Scottish Cup. On 29 November 2008 he came off the bench for Partick Thistle in a Third Round tie against Stirling Albion. He was on a Modern Apprentice scheme that season, part of the youth system at Firhill, and the appearance put him in the senior squad within months of signing.
Opportunities in the first team stayed few. At Partick he made one league appearance and three more as a substitute, and he stayed in the club's youth set-up through the 2009–10 season.
In January 2011 he left on a free transfer for Clyde. It was there that he played most of his senior football, and he was with the club until 2015. Over those years he made 13 league appearances, eight of them starts, and one in the League Cup. He did not score.
