About the player
Formosa gave Argentine football a forward. Passerini made his debut for Quilmes in 2014, then played for Tigre, Sarmiento, Guaraní, Estudiantes Caseros and Comunicaciones. It paid off at Guaraní, where he won the Paraguayan Cup in 2018.
The following year, in Chile, he played for Palestino. Passerini finished as the league's top scorer with 14 goals, and Cruz Azul signed him for 2.3 million dollars in 2020.
He arrived scoring: ten goals in his first season at the club, and was the Copa de la Liga Profesional's top scorer that year with the same tally. A second campaign brought six goals in eleven appearances before injury intervened — in April 2024 he suffered a torn cruciate ligament that kept him out for roughly eight months.
Passerini has not been capped by the Argentina national team.
