About the player
Luka Subotić came through the Partizan academy but spent the whole of his time registered with the Belgrade club out on loan, never making a senior competitive appearance for the first team. Instead his football education happened at FK Teleoptik, where he made 69 league appearances and scored three goals, helping the side win the Serbian League Belgrade title in 2020/21.
The centre-back moved on as a free agent in June 2023, joining FK Čukarički, where he made 22 appearances across all competitions. That spell ended in January 2025, when his contract was mutually terminated.
Subotić has represented Serbia at every youth level from under-16 upwards. His development has continued at under-21 level, where he has three caps since 2023 and took part in qualifying for the 2025 European Under-21 Championship.
