About the player
Klassen turned professional in 2017 at TSV 1860 Munich, where he made his debut in the 3. Liga.
His four years at 1860 Munich brought the Regionalliga Bayern title in 2017/18 and the Bavarian Cup two seasons later, before a move to WSG Tirol in Austria in 2021 lasted only a few months. That December he joined Spartak Moscow. He won the Russian Cup in his first season there, was a runner-up in the Russian Super Cup, and took a bronze medal in the Russian Premier League in 2022/23.
His contract at Spartak was cancelled by mutual agreement in 2024, and he signed for Lyngby BK in Denmark that August. A year later he moved to SV Darmstadt 98 in the 2. Bundesliga, before switching again in January 2026, this time on loan to Grazer AK. The move to Austria was made permanent by the summer, with his market value put at €600,000.
