About the player
Nathan Ferguson made his debut for Guyana on 21 March 2024, against Cape Verde in the 2024 FIFA Series. He was born in Walthamstow and reached the national team from English club football.
His one international goal so far came against Montserrat in the CONCACAF Nations League. As of March 2026 he had won 13 caps.
The club career began at Dagenham & Redbridge in 2013. In 2013–14 he was loaned to Chelmsford City and St Albans City. The 2015–16 season brought Grays Athletic, Dartford and Burton Albion, and 2016–17 brought Port Vale, Bromley and Folkestone Invicta. Most of these moves were as a free agent.
The right-footed midfielder then settled for longer stretches. Two seasons at Dulwich Hamlet, from 2017 to 2019, were followed by two at Crawley Town. He joined Southend United for 2021–22, then spent two seasons at Wealdstone, from 2022 to 2024. Maidenhead United followed in 2024–25 and Hartlepool United in 2025–26.
In July 2026 he signed for AFC Hornchurch of the National League on a free transfer.
