Noah Vidal

Noah Vidal-Cartoux, better known simply as Noah Vidal, is a product of the Montpellier academy, having moved through the club's U19 and B-team ranks before making his senior debut on 8 August 2026 in a 1-1 draw away to Dijon in Ligue 2. He kept his place through the opening weeks of the season, going the full 90 minutes against Dijon before featuring against Nancy, Dunkerque, Boulogne and Saint-Étienne, with his involvement tapering from a starting role to a late substitute appearance as the campaign wore on.

His breakthrough came alongside Montpellier's youth sides rather than the first team. He was part of the U18 group that reached the final of the Coupe Gambardella, where Montpellier lost 3-2 to Paris Saint-Germain. Vidal scored one of his side's two goals in that final, a mark of the impact he had made at youth level before his senior bow.

That form has carried into international recognition. Vidal has been capped by France at both U18 and U19 level, appearing in UEFA U19 Championship qualifiers in March 2026 against Wales, Hungary and Switzerland, the last of those ending in a 3-2 win. He was also involved with the U19 side in a 2-1 victory over Switzerland at the same age group.
