Pedro David Ramírez

Pedro David Ramírez started young, moving through Deportivo Chacabuco, River Plate and Lanús before settling at the Defensa y Justicia academy in 2016, and he made his senior debut for that club against Central Córdoba. A loan at Estudiantes de Buenos Aires followed, but it was a second loan move, to Deportivo Riestra in June 2022, that shaped his career. He stayed on afterwards on a permanent deal, and Riestra has since become the defining project of his career.

Ramírez plays as a left-back despite being right-footed, a trait more common among defenders who like to cut inside, and he has become an established figure in Riestra's rise through the Argentine pyramid. He featured through their Primera Nacional campaigns before the club's promotion, then carried that role into the Liga Profesional Argentina. The clearest moment of his career so far came on 13 June 2024, when he scored in Riestra's 2–0 win over River Plate, a result that stood out given the gulf in stature between the two clubs.

Across his time at Riestra, Ramírez has built up well over a hundred appearances in the league alone, adding goals in both league and cup competition and contributing a handful of assists as well. He has also picked up a significant number of yellow cards, along with a few red cards, reflecting a defender who is regularly involved in the physical side of the game. He has not yet earned a senior international call-up or any individual honours.
