About the player
Pavel Savitskiy has played 300 matches in the Belarusian Premier League for Neman. In September 2026 he became only the fourth player in the league's history to reach that figure for a single club. He is also the club's captain.
Neman is where he started. He joined the Grodno academy in 2009 and made his senior debut in 2011. In 2014 he went on loan to Jagiellonia Białystok in Poland for the 2014–15 season. That same May he made his debut for Belarus in a friendly against Iran, on 18 May. Three days later he scored his first international goals in a 5–1 win over Liechtenstein. By late 2024 he had 29 caps and seven goals for the national team, and he had also played for Belarus at U17, U19 and U21 levels.
His most successful years came away from Grodno. He moved to Dinamo Brest in 2018 and finished that year as top scorer in the Belarusian Premier League. With Dinamo he won the Belarusian Cup in 2017–18, the league title in 2019 and the Belarusian Super Cup in 2018, 2019 and 2020. The move was contested: Neman claimed $600,000 from Dinamo for his training costs and was awarded $265,000.
In January 2021 he joined Rukh Brest on a free transfer. A year later, in January 2022, he returned to Neman. Since then he has been a key player and captain, and he extended his contract in January 2023 and again in January 2025.
