Peter Reinhardtsen

In October 2022 he went to Sarpsborg for medical tests and was afterwards excluded from the IK Start squad. Sarpsborg's sports director, Thomas Berntsen, described what followed as a "tough period" and not an open conflict. On 1 January 2023 Peter joined Sarpsborg 08 on a free transfer.

He is a right-footed defender who can play at right-back or left-back. His route to that point ran through several clubs in southern Norway. He started out at FK Donn in Kristiansand and stayed there until 2010, when he joined the IK Start academy. He came through its youth ranks until 2018, and his first senior appearances for Start came from 2015, while he was still part of the youth setup.

In the summer of 2018 he left for FK Jerv and played there until the end of the 2019 season. He spent 2020 with Arendal Fotball in the 2. divisjon, the third tier of Norwegian football.

He returned to Start in April 2021 and stayed until the autumn of 2022. That second spell ended with the Sarpsborg episode. Since the start of 2023 he has been a Sarpsborg 08 player in the Eliteserien.
