Robert Nicholas Street

Rob Street scored 12 goals on loan at Doncaster Rovers in the second half of the 2024–25 season. Doncaster won the EFL League Two title that year. He had joined Doncaster from Lincoln City in January, six months after signing a four-year contract at Lincoln. Lincoln then won the EFL League One title in 2025–26.

Street is a right-footed centre-forward from Oxford. He played youth football for Surrey, and Transfermarkt included him in its Talents Calendar in 2017. He then went through the Crystal Palace academy at under-18, under-21 and under-23 level and signed his first professional contract there in 2020. His senior appearance for Palace was brief and came in the 2021–22 season.

His development came mostly on loan. At Torquay United in early 2021 he played five games without scoring. At Newport County in the first half of 2022 he made 18 appearances and scored twice. The spell that mattered most was at Shrewsbury Town, from September 2022 to May 2023. He played 38 league games there and scored four goals, and it is described as the defining loan of his early career.

In July 2023 Street turned down a new contract at Palace and joined Cheltenham Town on a free transfer. He spent a season there before Lincoln signed him in July 2024.

His route to the first team was through League One and League Two clubs rather than a single breakthrough.
