Sander van de Streek

Sander van de Streek made his name in the Eerste Divisie rather than at the top level of Dutch football. In the 2016/2017 season, playing for SC Cambuur, he finished as the division's joint top scorer with 22 goals in 33 appearances. His most productive campaign in Utrecht colours came in 2020/2021, when he scored 11 times in the Eredivisie.

Before all that, his path started modestly at amateur side SDV Barneveld, from where he moved into Vitesse's youth ranks. His senior football began there too, though it was a loan spell at Estonian club Flora Tallinn in 2013 that brought his first piece of silverware, the Estonian Cup.

In August 2023, van de Streek left the Netherlands for Turkey, joining Antalyaspor on a free transfer. The initial two-year deal, with an option for a third year, has since been extended to run until June 2027, a sign of the club's confidence in him. He has settled into the side, contributing 14 goals and 9 assists in 112 appearances so far.

Despite his goalscoring record in Dutch football, van de Streek has never been capped by the Netherlands at senior level, nor did he come through any of the country's youth national teams.
