Tiago Palacios

Uruguayan through his mother, Tiago Palacios was born in Gregorio de Laferrere, in Buenos Aires Province, and it was there, in River Plate's youth ranks, that his career began before he moved on to Platense in 2018. He made his senior debut for the club in March 2020 and played his part in the promotion campaign that followed. He collected six caps for the under-23 side.

His performances at Platense earned him a move to Montevideo City Torque in February 2021, in a deal worth around €0.6 million, though he was sent straight back to Platense on loan for the remainder of that year. He stayed in Uruguay with City Torque until 2024, when Estudiantes de La Plata brought him back across the river for a fee in the region of $2.5–2.7 million.

His time in La Plata was brief before Inter Milan came calling. The Italian club completed a permanent transfer for the midfielder in August 2024, for a reported €6.5 million. Rather than settle in Milan, he was loaned out to Monza in January 2025. He has since returned to Estudiantes de La Plata on loan, with the Argentine club holding an option to make the move permanent for a fee in the region of €6–7 million.
