About the player
Teplyi came through Karpaty Lviv's academy after starting out at Skala Morshyn and the Uzhhorod sports school, but his senior football began well below the professional game, with amateur side Yunist Verkhnya/Nyzhnya Bilka in the Lviv Premier League. It was there, in 2021, that he was named the league's Best Midfielder and Best Player.
The move up came in 2023, when Ahrobiznes Volochysk signed him. A brief switch to Skala 1911 Stryi followed that July, but he returned to Ahrobiznes before the year was out. He has since become a regular fixture in the middle of the park there and was made vice-captain.
The 2025–26 season brought two milestones: his 50th appearance in the Ukrainian First League, and his first professional goal, scored against Lokomotyv Kyiv in August. Ahrobiznes reached the relegation play-offs of the Ukrainian Premier League that season, eventually losing to Kudrivka on penalties after the tie finished 2–2 on aggregate.
Teplyi has not been capped by the Ukrainian national team.
