Hillerød

Promotion out of the Danmarksserien in 2017 came with a group title attached, and it moved Hillerød Fodbold into the professional pyramid. Five years later the club went up again, into the 1. Division, and that second step is the one that has complicated its daily life: the ground at Selskov does not meet the Divisionsforeningen's requirements for the second tier. So for 2025/26 the team plays its home matches at Helsingør Stadion, a rented ground with room for around 10,000.

FC Helsingør is the fixture that Danish reporting calls simply a lokalopgør, without any settled name for it.

Adrian Justinussen spent two seasons leading the line and finished as the club's top scorer in the 1. Division before joining AC Horsens in October 2025.

All of it grew out of a gymnastics club in Ullerød, where a football section was set up in May 1937.
