Järva-Jaani

Arto Saar spent his career in one shirt, 492 appearances and 155 goals of it. Raido Vespere, the club's leading scorer with 162 goals from 264 games, played on the same pitch.

The team started out in 2002 as FCF Järva-Jaani SK, a name that pointed to Tallinn's FC Flora, and only became FC Järva-Jaani in 2013 once that link had faded.

Järva-Jaani Kasekopli staadion holds 100 people. Two second-place finishes mark the high points on the pitch, in the fourth tier in 2004 and in the third tier this year. The Estonian Cup has given the club two runs to the last sixteen, in 2005/06 and again in 2018/19, and both ended the same way, beaten by clubs from a level the borough side does not otherwise meet — 5:2 to Tallinna Dünamo the first time, 0:6 to Tartu JK Tammeka the second.

No trophy has come back to Järva-Jaani in that time. What the club has instead is a small number of players who stayed long enough to be counted in the hundreds of appearances, and a 2025 season that pushed it to second in the third tier, its best league placing yet.
