Stadion Vegesack has room for 3,000 and sits alongside BSA Burgwall as the second ground JFV Bremen U19 uses for home fixtures.
That structure dates to September 25, 2014, when the youth departments of SG Aumund-Vegesack, TSV Lesum-Burgdamm and SV Grohn merged into one registered association, JFV Bremen.
The name invites confusion with a much older institution across the city. SV Werder Bremen's academy has existed since 1899 and carries the senior club's honours, including the 1999 German U19 championship and the 2025 DFB-Pokal der Junioren.
What the two sides share is a fixture list. Werder Bremen U19 is JFV Bremen's principal rival, and their meeting in the 2026 Bremen State Cup final was billed locally as a Stadtderby. JFV Bremen lost it on penalties.
The same season brought a first-round place in the 2026/27 DFB-Pokal der Junioren.
