JSP

Two matches decided everything JSP has to show for itself: the 2002 Coupe du Bénin final and the Super Coupe that followed the same year, won 2-2, 2-0 against Dragons de l'Ouémé. Both belong to that single season, and neither has been repeated since — the league title has stayed out of reach.

The club was formed in 1993 in Pobè, a town in the Plateau Department, and its clearest export has been a player rather than a trophy. Razack Omotoyossi came through at JSP before moving on to FC Metz, Zamalek and Sheriff Tiraspol, scoring 21 goals for Benin along the way and earning the nickname "taureau de Pobè" — the bull of Pobè. He came back in 2019 on a one-year deal.

European competition lasted one round: in 2003, drawn against Étoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia in the African Cup Winners' Cup, JSP withdrew before playing. Locally the rivalry that matters is with Ayema FC, also based in the Pobè area — the derby du plateau.

Home games are played in front of 5,000 seats at Stade Jean-Pierre Gascon.
