The Kalanga Technical Centre sits in Big Bend, and Magwanyana FC plays there in the second tier of Eswatini football, the MulaSport National First Division.
The record of the club's founding runs cold before it starts: it does not appear among the clubs listed in the survey of Swazi foundation dates stretching from 1948 to 2016, though it was already turning out in the Swazi Bank Cup by the 2008/09 season. No nickname has attached itself to the club, and no colours are recorded either.
This past season Magwanyana finished third in the National First Division on 50 points from 14 wins, eight draws and eight losses, enough to send them into the promotion play-off for the MTN Premier League.
For now the club's fortunes stay tied to Big Bend and to the Kalanga Technical Centre, waiting for another crack at the play-offs.
