NB Bornholm

Amir Hadžiahmetović came up through the club's academy between 2003 and 2009 before going on to play for Bosnia and Herzegovina's national team. Nexø Boldklub was formed in 1915, went bankrupt, and had to be built again from scratch in 1990; in 2009 the club renamed itself NB Bornholm.

The furthest it has reached in the Danish league system was the 2nd Division, the third tier, in 2012–13 — a campaign in which the Malawian international Clement Kafwafwa turned out for the side. In the DBU Pokalen its best run took it to the Second Round in 2018–19, ended there by FC Helsingør.

No league title or cup sits in the club's history. The fixture that matters locally is against Viking/RIK, a meeting known on the island as "Slaget om Bornholm" — the Battle for Bornholm.

These days NB Bornholm competes away from the divisions it once reached.
