Os Limianos

Rogério Gonçalves took over at Campo do Cruzeiro in 1992 with the club stuck outside the national game, and by the time he left in 1995 Os Limianos had gone up to the Segunda Divisão. It came on the back of a Terceira Divisão title in 1993–94.

Everything else has played out closer to home, in the AF Viana do Castelo championship, where Os Limianos have been champions often enough to make the yellow-and-blue kit a familiar sight across the district: 1984–85 and 1991–92 in the old 1ª Divisão, then four Divisão de Honra titles spread out from 1998–99 to 2022–23. The most recent of those, in 2023, came with the club also holding the district cup, having taken it in 2020–21 and again in 2022–23.

None of it means as much locally as the Derby Correlhã-Limianos. ADC Correlhã sits close enough that the fixture carries the town's own rivalries into ninety minutes, and results there tend to be remembered longer than league placings.
