Polissya II

Oleksandr Maksymov took charge in July 2025, and Polissya-2 finished second in Group A of the Druha Liga in 2026 on 63 points, going up to the Persha Liga for 2026-27. The year before, in the team's first professional season, the same group had left them fifth.

The reserve team was registered as a distinct professional entity for 2024-25, which makes it far younger than the badge it wears: the parent club in Zhytomyr traces its line back to 1959. Nothing about the second team is separate from the first — no nickname of its own, no derby anyone marks on a calendar. The colours are the senior side's green and black.

Bogdan Lednev has passed through the side, as have Andi Hadroj and Enrique Esono; a reserve team's team sheet turns over by design, and the ones worth naming are usually on their way somewhere else.

The ground is the part that will not scale with the promotion. Home matches are played at SOB FC Polissya No. 1 in the village of Hlybochytsia, in Zhytomyr Raion, on a training complex rather than a stadium in the ordinary sense. Capacity is 266. That is a figure closer to a school hall than to a Persha Liga fixture list, and it means the crowd at a second-team match is measured in dozens: coaching staff, scouts from the senior side, a few families from the village. Whether the First League will accept it is the question the promotion has handed them.
