Santa Clarita's biggest nights have both ended the same way: an opponent from three time zones away, beaten and going home.
The club took shape in Santa Clarita in 2008, wearing blue at home and white on the road, and settled at Cougar Stadium — also known as Reese Field — on the campus of the College of the Canyons, a ground that holds 6,000. It spent its first seasons, from 2008 to 2015, in the USL W-League before switching to United Women's Soccer in 2016.
Blue Heat won the first UWS National Championship ever contested, beating New Jersey Copa FC 2-1 in the final. In 2024, the club added the UWS Playoff Championship in the West Conference.
