The pitch in Wikielec holds between 600 and 1,000 people. The village lies in Iława County, in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, and Stadion Wikielec is the ground of a municipal club, GKS Wikielec, short for Gminny Klub Sportowy. It was set up in 1958.

The Warmian-Masurian Regional League title came in 2008, then again in 2015 and 2023. Each one brought promotion to the 3. Liga, the fourth tier.

The regional cup has been kinder still. Wikielec beat Huragan Morąg 3:2 to win it in 2013, and Stomil II Olsztyn 5:0 in 2022. In 2025 they beat Concordia Elbląg 4:1 after extra time. In 2025 that meant a first-round tie at Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała. Wikielec won 2:1 on 23 September 2025. In the round of 32, on 28 October, they lost 0:2 to Zawisza Bydgoszcz.

The nearest thing to a rivalry is with Olimpia Elbląg. Their meetings are billed as the Derby Warmii i Mazur, the derby of Warmia and Masuria.
