Miedź Legnica II

Fourth tier this season means the III liga, Group III, for Miedź Legnica II, and it arrived there on the back of the IV Liga Lower Silesia title won in 2023–24. The reserve side has since kept adding to a modest trophy shelf of its own, taking the Lower Silesia Super Cup in both 2024 and 2025.

The team exists to carry players from Legnica's academy, set up in 2012, into senior football, and it wears the same green, blue and red as the first team. There is no separate identity beyond that: no nickname of its own, no anniversary distinct from the parent club's founding in 1971. What the reserve side has built instead is a habit of winning at the level it is put in — a regional Klasa A title in 2004–05, the local IV Liga Legnica crown a year later, then the wider IV Liga Lower Silesia in 2014–15 before repeating it a decade on.

Home games are played at the Votum Świerkowa Arena on ulica Świerkowa, a ground built for training as much as for spectators, which is why its seating is put at anywhere from 1,000 up depending on who is counting. Cup football has occasionally taken the team further than its league status would suggest: a run to the first round of the Polish Cup proper in 2016–17 ended against GKS Bełchatów, and the side reached the 1/32 finals in 2025–26 before losing to Świt Szczecin.

What sharpens the season, though, is not a rival club but the parent one. Reserve teams in Poland cannot meet their own first team in league play, so the contest that matters most for Miedź Legnica II is quieter: proving, match by match in the lower tiers, that its graduates are ready to be pulled upstairs to Miedź Legnica itself.
