HK Vallen

The ground at Korstavägen 18 is not a monument. It is a piece of infrastructure that was part of the town's development plans before the municipality swapped a bus garage project for a football pitch. The new facility opened in 2015, replacing the old HK Vallen in Gärdedalen, which had a natural grass surface and floodlights. The old site was later taken up by SDFF Plus.

The turf here is artificial, a practical choice for a smaller town where weather dictates play. The capacity sits at 1,000, a number that keeps the atmosphere intimate rather than spectacle.
