The Bulldogs took on the Bison in a regular-season NFL fixture on October 10, 2026, and came away with a 45:21 victory. The win snapped a run that had gone sour for the hosts, who had lost each of their previous four matches. By then, the pressure must have been mounting inside their own stadium.
The Bison had shown flashes of promise in September, notably a 28:49 win against the Ravens, but they also suffered heavy defeats to the Cougars and Lions. This time around, they found themselves on the wrong side of a decisive scoreline. The support of the fans could be called devoted, but that is an assessment, not a fact.
For the Bulldogs, this result carries weight beyond the three points. They had dropped points in every recent outing, including back-to-back 0:14 losses to the Panthers and consecutive 26:35 defeats against the Falcons. The clean-sheet run came to an end long ago, but at least they put runs on the board this evening.
What the final tally tells you is simple enough. The hosts scored 45 points while the visitors managed 21, a margin that speaks for itself. The goal difference shifts in favour of the home side, and that is the only number that matters right now.
The standings tell a different story depending on where you look. The Bison remain fourth place with zero games and zero points — the season has just started and the table says nothing yet. The Bulldogs' position is harder to pin down without more context, but they are certainly moving in the right direction.
The recent form of both sides makes this result slightly surprising. The Bulldogs had lost four in a row, yet they turned things around with a commanding performance. The Bison had beaten the Ravens, but they had also lost heavily to two other opponents. Football is uneven like that.
