The Cougars secured a commanding 55-19 victory over the Bison in their regular-season encounter on 2026-09-19. The match concluded with a significant margin that highlighted the disparity between the two sides. It was a straightforward affair where the home side controlled the tempo from the outset.
That 36-point difference speaks volumes about the performance levels on display. To be fair, the Cougars were never truly tested, as the visitors struggled to find any rhythm. The final score reflects a day where one team had all the answers while the other could not offer a solution.
The Bison’s situation looks increasingly precarious when you consider their recent form. They arrived having lost 28-49 to the Ravens and followed that with a 7-44 defeat against the Lions. By then, it was clear they were running out of legs and confidence in equal measure.
Such a sequence of results suggests a team that cannot afford another slip. The visitors’ defence appeared porous, conceding heavily in every outing. And here’s the thing, the Cougars exploited those weaknesses with ruthless efficiency throughout the contest.
The result leaves the Bison with a mountain to climb if they wish to salvage their campaign. A 55-19 loss is not easily recovered from, especially given the context of the previous fixtures. The gap in quality has never looked wider.
