The Delta Devils secured a narrow 38-34 victory over the Tigers in the NFL regular-season clash on Saturday evening. The result extends the Tigers' winless run to six matches, while the visitors claim their second victory of the season. It was a contest where both sides traded blows from the opening whistle.
The Tigers arrived in desperate form, having lost five straight games against opponents including the Owls, Braves, and Miners. Their most recent outing before this match saw them succumb 10-66 to the Owls. The visitors brought a mixed record, with two wins from five games but also heavy defeats to the Hornets and Statesmen.
With 72 points on the board, this was a game decided by fine margins. The Tigers fought hard but could only manage 34 points against a Delta Devils side that showed resilience after their early setbacks. The four-point difference reflected how closely matched these teams were on the night.
The result leaves the Tigers still searching for their first victory of the 2026 season. The Delta Devils, meanwhile, move closer to establishing themselves in the league standings with back-to-back wins over the Panthers and now the Tigers.
