Abraham Ayomide Marcus

Abraham Marcus is a Nigerian forward who started out at Remo Stars before moving to Portugal in 2020 to join C.D. Feirense, where he had his breakthrough campaign, scoring 11 goals in 26 Liga Portugal 2 appearances.

The turning point came in 2022, when FC Porto took him on loan with an option to buy. Playing for Porto B in Liga Portugal 2, Marcus scored 9 goals in 30 appearances in 2022–23 and picked up the Liga Portugal 2 Goal of the Month award that August, alongside a single senior appearance for Porto in the Primeira Liga. Porto exercised the option to sign him permanently in July 2023, and he spent two more seasons with the B side, scoring 10 goals in 55 appearances.

In July 2025, Marcus moved to Estrela da Amadora on a free transfer, with Porto reported to have retained 40% of his economic rights, and signed a contract until 2028, scoring 5 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions this season.

At international level, Marcus made his senior Nigeria debut in June 2021 in a friendly defeat to Cameroon, and has since added a second cap. Reports linking him with a move to Jagiellonia Białystok have proven unfounded, and he remains at Estrela da Amadora.
