Fernando Dinamarca

Fernando Dinamarca is a product of the Deportes La Serena academy, and his path to the first team has been entirely internal to the club: there is no transfer fee attached to his rise through the youth ranks, and no former clubs on his record. The left-back made his professional debut in a Copa Chile tie against Coquimbo Unido, before featuring as Deportes La Serena won the Primera B title, a campaign in which he appeared in a 1–0 away win at Deportes Antofagasta.

His breakthrough to the top flight followed the club's promotion. Dinamarca made his Primera División debut against Colo-Colo, stepping into Chilean football's highest tier having already tasted a title with the club at second-division level. He remains tied to Deportes La Serena, with his contract running through the end of 2027, giving the club long-term control over a player it developed from within its own structure.

At 179 cm, Dinamarca operates as a left-back. He has not featured for Chile at any youth international level to date, meaning his development has so far been shaped entirely by club football in La Serena.
