M. Tello

Martín Tello has yet to make a senior appearance for Ecuador, but he has become a fixture in Macará's midfield, wearing the number 15 shirt in Serie A. His path to the first team runs through the club's "Proyecto de la Casa Hogar", a home project through which he came up before joining Macará's senior squad.

Right-footed and used across the middle of the pitch, Tello has featured as an attacking midfielder, a defensive midfielder and in the centre, though he has occasionally been named as a defender in match protocols. He has not yet won a title or an individual award with the club, and his story so far is one of establishing himself as a regular starter rather than a decorated one.

Born in Ambato, Tello has not been capped by Ecuador at senior or youth international level, so his development remains tied for now to his club form in Liga Pro.
