About the player
Piero Guzmán came through the youth ranks at LDU Loja before moving to Aucas at the start of 2021. He made his first-team debut in Liga Pro in 2023, playing twice, and added five appearances and a goal the following season.
In February 2025, he was loaned out to SD Quito, then playing in the Segunda Categoría. The loan ran through the end of the year, and Guzmán returned to Aucas for the 2026 season. Back at Aucas, he became a regular starter, making 30 Liga Pro appearances and scoring twice.
