The Inn-Energie-Arena holds around 3,000 people. Kirchdorf am Inn is where the Wildcats have played since 2004, when the team moved there and took the town's name; before that they were known as the Simbach Wildcats.
What the club has built since is a record of returning to the same level again and again rather than climbing past it once and staying. The GFL2 Southern Division title has come their way five times — 1994, 2003, 2014, 2017 and 2023.
The top flight itself, the GFL, has been reached twice, for the 2018–19 seasons and again in 2024. Before the 2025 season the Wildcats withdrew and dropped back down to the Regionalliga.
