Lane Stadium

The field is known as Worsham Field, named after a university sponsor rather than the stadium itself. The original funding came from Edward Hudson Lane, a local businessman and alumnus, which explains the name and the somewhat utilitarian aesthetic.

In recent years, the stadium has seen significant changes to its infrastructure. The installation of a large video board has also altered the visual dynamic during games, allowing the crowd to react to events in real-time.

The atmosphere is generated by the density of the crowd and the proximity of the stands to the playing surface.
