Karlu secured a comfortable 82-55 victory over Titan Academy in the TB2L tournament on Friday. The hosts made no mistake from the opening tip-off, building a lead that never came under serious threat. Titan Academy failed to find any rhythm in attack or defence throughout the contest.
The 27-point margin told the story of a one-sided affair. Karlu moved through their possessions with purpose, while the visitors appeared to have switched off at crucial moments. The scoreline reflected a team that had opened up space and punished any hesitation.
Recent results for Karlu have been mixed, to be fair. They dropped two consecutive games to Akhisar Belediye before stringing together a draw and a win against Etimesgut. That heavy 123-70 victory over Haznedar Doru showed what they are capable of when everything clicks.
This performance felt more like that earlier dominance than the recent struggles. They kept their heads when Titan Academy tried to respond and did not let up. The result keeps them in fourth place with a solid record of 13 wins from 20 games.
The gap in the table is unlikely to close quickly with this kind of output. Karlu have now shown they can put games away when it matters, and that consistency could prove vital down the stretch.
