Libertas Livorno Women — Campobasso Women: 55:57, Serie A1 Women

Libertas Livorno Women and Campobasso met in Serie A1 on 4 October 2026, with the away side claiming a 55:57 victory. The result keeps Campobasso in third place after twenty games — fifteen wins and five losses, no draws to speak of. And here's the thing: it was closer than the scoreline might suggest, given how both sides had traded blows all season.

Campobasso come into this fixture having played five matches since February. They lost two narrow games against Roseto Women — 54:59 and 56:58 — before a heavy 50:71 defeat to San Giovanni. But they also picked up two wins: 63:57 against Battipaglia and 59:45 over Broni. So form has been mixed, to be fair.

What this result means is straightforward. Livorno go home with a loss, Campobasso add another win to their tally. Third place remains unchanged, though the gap to whoever sits above them is now one point wider. The visitors have shown they can compete with anyone in the league — even if they still drop points against the top sides.
