Neptūnas Klaipėda women's team defeated LKK Women 104-84 in a Moterų Lyga fixture played on October 4th, 2026. The home side maintained their second-place position in the standings with this result. LKK remain fourth after twelve games in the competition. The match concluded with a comfortable margin for the hosts.
Neptūnas established their dominance from the opening period and never looked back. The home team controlled the tempo throughout the contest. LKK struggled to find their rhythm against a well-organised defence. The visitors managed to score eighty-four points but could not match their opponents' output.
The home side's record now stands at nine wins from twelve matches. They have suffered three defeats so far this campaign. LKK's position is more precarious with six wins and six losses. Both teams have yet to secure a draw in their twelve games played.
Neptūnas' recent form has shown some inconsistency. They lost their last two encounters against Kibirkštis MRU Vilnius after winning three matches. LKK have been particularly vulnerable against Šiauliai-Universitetas, losing four of their five meetings with that side. These results help contextualise today's performance.
The victory extends Neptūnas' presence near the top of the table. LKK's position in fourth place remains unchanged but their defeat adds pressure. The gap between the two sides in the standings is significant. What happens next will depend on how both teams respond in their remaining fixtures.
