Gilbert Arenas says Miami's Giannis Antetokounmpo signing frees Bam Adebayo to play an Odom-like all-around role after years of thin scoring depth.
Gilbert Arenas has weighed in on Miami's move for two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, arguing the signing hands Pat Riley the kind of roster piece that has decided every one of his championship runs.
"Pat Riley made the final with Tyler Herro as his leading scorer. Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, Caleb Martin, Max Strus, Victor, Gabe, old man Kevin Love, Hayward, Haslem, Duncan Robinson and Cody Zeller. That's a final with an amateur team. Arenas rated Adebayo's one-on-one game above Middleton's, while dismissing the supporting cast as short on firepower alongside Antetokounmpo.
