Bob Beyer has stepped down as an assistant coach with the Lakers after two seasons with the club. Greg St. Jean will take over his role, moving up to one of the senior positions on the coaching staff.

St. Jean has worked as an NBA assistant since 2013 and recently also sat on the Slovenia national team's coaching staff. According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, he was already set for an expanded role on the Lakers' staff even if Beyer had stayed on.
