Clippers Waive Jonny Broome
Los Angeles cut the 2025 draft pick after his rookie year in Philadelphia, where he saw limited minutes; Broome now enters free agency.
The Clippers have waived centre Jonny Broome, the 35th pick of the 2025 NBA draft.
Broome spent his rookie season with Philadelphia, appearing in 11 regular-season games and averaging 0.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 5 minutes a night. Most of his time went to the G League.
The Clippers had only picked him up over the summer, taking him on in a cash-for-player deal. Three seasons remained on his contract, but the last two carried no guarantees.
Broome now goes onto the free-agent market.
