Agostino Luigi Spina

Agostino Luigi Spina came through the youth ranks at Club Atlético Huracán in Argentina and made his professional debut on 14 February 2021, in the Copa de la Liga Profesional against Defensa y Justicia, scoring his first professional goal in that same match. Three months later he signed his first professional contract, one that carried a release clause of 10 million dollars.

His path from there went through loan spells rather than a settled run in Huracán's first team: 47 appearances and five goals for the club across four seasons, interspersed with two separate loans to Unión Magdalena in Colombia. The first, in the second half of 2022, brought 23 appearances without a goal. The second, in 2024, proved the more significant of the two — 37 league appearances and two goals as Unión Magdalena won the Categoría Primera B and earned promotion to Colombia's top flight, the only major team title of Spina's career so far.

In June 2025 he moved to Sociedad Deportiva Aucas in Ecuador on a season-long loan from Huracán, a deal that included an option for the Ecuadorian club to buy half of his economic rights. He made 19 appearances and set up three goals in his first season there. The following year he made 25 league appearances and one cup appearance, and rather than trigger the purchase option, Aucas opted to extend the loan for the remainder of the 2026 season. Back at Huracán, meanwhile, he had extended his own contract with the Argentine club through December 2027 even while continuing his spell in Ecuador.
