About the player
Santiago Morales arrived at Aucas on loan from Sarmiento de Junín in February 2026. Born in Salta, he made his senior debut with Belgrano in Córdoba in late 2021 and stayed there until January 2023.
His time at Belgrano ended on a high: he was part of the squad that won the 2022 Primera Nacional title, a campaign that returned the club to the Argentine top flight. That promotion gave him a platform, and he moved on a free transfer to Sarmiento de Junín, where he spent three seasons, from 2023 to 2025, playing in the Liga Profesional Argentina.
